Bringing Happy Holidays to The Neighborhood Assisted Living Facility
On Dec. 9, 2025 our Kiwanis gals hosted the monthly tea for the ladies residing at The Neighborhood. The theme was a Winter Wonderland. The tea offered a delightful occasion for socialization amount the residents. Our dedicated Kiwanians contributed an array of sweet treats and baked goods, all lovingly prepared by our talented gals, to complement the hot tea. The residents truly appreciated the event, which brought joy and warmth during a time that can often be lonely for some. Our volunteers were committed to alleviating any feelings of isolation, ensuring that the event was filled with laughter, engaging conversations, and the simple joy of good company. It was a heartwarming day that left everyone with cherished memories to hold onto.

The Annual Christmas Potluck luncheon hosted by the Loudon High School Key Club was a joyful gathering. Held on December 9th, 2025, the event saw the participation of Dr. Sarah Kile, the dedicated Key Club advisor, along with 36 enthusiastic Key Club members and five members from the Tellico Village Kiwanis. The luncheon was a tasty delight, with the Kiwanians generously contributing an array of delicious dishes including fried chicken, sliders, sloppy joes, meatballs, and desserts. The event was enlivened by a series of friendly games, fostering camaraderie and laughter among attendees. The Tellico Village Kiwanians held a heartwarming packing party on December 8th, 2025. Nine dedicated members, along with the daughter of one member, came together to prepare 72 bags filled with essential personal hygiene products. These items were purchased by the club's members. The bags are set to be distributed to the residents of the Springplace Apartment Complex in Lenoir City during their Christmas Lunch on December 10th. Our volunteers will also deliver bags to any residents unable to join the festivities. The Annual Christmas Potluck luncheon hosted by the Loudon High School Key Club was a joyful gathering. Held on December 9th, 2025, the event saw the participation of Dr. Sarah Kile, the dedicated Key Club advisor, along with 36 enthusiastic Key Club members and five members from the Tellico Village Kiwanis. The luncheon was a tasty delight, with the Kiwanians generously contributing an array of delicious dishes including fried chicken, sliders, sloppy joes, meatballs, and desserts. The event was enlivened by a series of friendly games, fostering camaraderie and laughter among attendees.

The Tellico Village Kiwanians held a heartwarming packing party on December 8th, 2025. Nine dedicated members, along with the daughter of one member, came together to prepare 72 bags filled with essential personal hygiene products. These items were purchased by the club's members. The bags are set to be distributed to the residents of the Springplace Apartment Complex in Lenoir City during their Christmas Lunch on December 10th. Our volunteers will also deliver bags to any residents unable to join the festivities.
