Our October 7, 2025 meeting was a joyous occasion as we came together to celebrate the achievements and transitions within our organization. We took a moment to applaud our outgoing President, Katey Bailey, whose outstanding guidance and leadership have left a lasting impact. Her vision and dedication have been instrumental in steering us forward. We expressed our gratitude to our members, whose unwavering commitment and dedication throughout the past year have been truly inspiring. In a seamless transition, we welcomed our new slate of officers, who were installed by the outgoing Division 4 Lieutenant Governor, Roger Robinson. His presence and support added a special touch to the event. With new leadership at the helm, we look forward to another year of, “Making a difference in the lives of children. One child and one community at a time.”

We contribute both financial resources and volunteer efforts to this program, which supports students at Loudon Elementary School who are in need. Our members pack bags filled with nutritious snacks from the four essential food groups twice a month. The packing begins the Friday following a club meeting at 9:30 a.m. and is typically completed by 10:30 a.m. Teachers then discreetly distribute these snack bags to the children. Second Harvest manages the purchase and delivery of the food items directly to the school.

Our club is made up of individuals from all walks of life. Their diversity and commitment are the fabric of our organization. They are dedicated to, "Making a difference in the lives of children. One child and one community at a time."
On March 17, 2026, we had the privilege of hosting Chris Evans-Longmire, the Executive Director of Kids First - Child’s Advocacy Center and Iva’s Place, as our guest speaker. She was joined by Sheri Pitman, the Development Director. Chris's presentation profoundly affected our members. The extent of abuse faced by children and adults is unimaginable. The contributions of these organizations are genuinely priceless. The dedication and commitment displayed by Chris and her team have made a remarkable impact on countless lives. WHO GOVERNS OUR CLUB
The 2025-2026 Kiwanis Club Year is October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026.
The Board of Directors is our club’s governing body, consisting of five club officers and four directors. An Officer’s Term is one year. A Director’s Term is two years.
