This inclusiveprogram, which began in Monroe County in 2019, aims to make baseball accessibleto everyone, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. Sweetwater andTellico Plains were the first Without Limits teams. Working with the LoudonDiamond Club, the Loudon Without Limits team made its debut April 26, 2023.Lenoir City joined the Without Limits team in 2026. The teams are comprised ofplayers aged 5 to 28. The players benefit from community and sponsor donations,receiving uniforms and participation at no cost. Our club proudly supports thisendeavor with financial funding and volunteers, embodying the spirit ofinclusivity and community engagement that defines the Without Limits Program.

The Lending Library Program at Lenoir City Elementary Schoolis an exemplary initiative designed to promote a passion for reading amongkindergarten students. Every Thursday, resolute Kiwanis volunteers serve aslibrarians. Equipped with a cart full of diverse books, children are given theopportunity to independently select a book that interests them. This processnot only empowers young learners to make their own reading choices but alsoinstills a sense of responsibility as they manage their borrowed books. Teacherssupply folders containing useful reading tips for parents, ensuring that thereading experience continues beyond the classroom into the home. This endeavorfosters an environment that celebrates literacy and promotes lifelong learning.Volunteers dedicate approximately one hour of their time from 7:45 a.m. to approximately8:30 a.m.
