¿Calificará tu hijo para nuestro Proyecto Amtryke?
Lee lo siguiente para conocer algunos requisitos importantes para que un niño pueda optar a nuestro Proyecto Amtryke:
Tu hijo debe tener una discapacidad que le impida usar un triciclo o bicicleta convencional para recreación o terapia.
Debe de no poder permitirse comprar un triciclo adaptado Amtryke para su hijo.
Tu hijo debe tener 18 años o menos.
Tu hijo debe tener acceso a un área relativamente llana, bien pavimentada o compactada para poder circular con seguridad y aprovechar el beneficio esperado del triciclo. El terapeuta de tu hijo puede ayudarte a saber qué condiciones de conducción se recomiendan.
Tú, o alguien que te puede ayudar, debe tener la capacidad de transportar el triciclo cuando sea necesario. Un vehículo más grande, como una furgoneta o un pickup, es necesario para transportar algunos triciclos Amtryke para niños mayores.
Un fisioterapeuta o terapeuta ocupacional titulado debe preparar y firmar los formularios de solicitud. El terapeuta del colegio de tu hijo podría estar dispuesto a ayudarte con esto. Si tu hijo no tiene terapeuta, háznoslo saber y podemos intentar ayudarte a encontrar uno.

Our members pack bags filled with nutritious snacks from the four essential food groups twice a month. The packing begins the Friday following a club meeting at 9:30 a.m. and is typically completed by 10:30 a.m. Teachers then discreetly distribute these snack bags to the children. Second Harvest manages the purchase and delivery of the food items directly to the school.
